The City of Refuge of Houston, Inc. a nonprofit corporation as designated by Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, oversees the operation of the City of Refuge and all its project and programs.  This non profit corporation provides a variety of services for the community in zip codes 77066 and 77086.  With special interest placed on improving reading and the elderly, homeless, children, improvised single family homes, and displaced citizens of our community.

 

  

City of Refuge Academy  www.cityofrefugeacademy.org :

The City of Refuge of Houston Academy is committed to providing high quality summer enrichment, academy daycare and after-school programs for a diverse community. All programs are design to impact the lives of children ages six to eighteen by building their academic, social, emotional, physical and spiritual foundations. 





FACILITY

Sports:
New Hope Community Church houses a full court basketball gym for use by sporting teams, and for private and public community events. New Hope also hosts an Open Court basketball night just for men on Thursday's at 9pm for only $3. No registration required.

Entertainment:

New Hope has recently debuted its G-Zone multimedia center equipped with 7 HD flat panel televisions, Wii and Xbox Gaming, and a fully equipped home theater Dolby Surround Sound System. With its CD, DVD and Power Point Presentation capabilities, The G-Zone is used for children and youth functions, private parties, receptions, banquets, seminars, classes and corporate presentations.

 

The G-Zone is also useful for recreational activities such as choreography classes, exhibitions and is also used for our weekly BOOT CAMP fitness class held on Wednesdays at 6:30pm
