Singles With A Testimony (S.W.A.T) Ministry – John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Vision/Mission:

Christian Single Adults loving God and sharing his love with others by sharing the gospel message of Christ and being the light in darkness.

Goals:

·         RECOGNIZING the need and opportunity to minister with single adults

·         REACHING single adults through persistent prayer, progressive planning, tactful training and relevant resources

·         RESTORING single adults to spiritual and relational wholeness

·         RELEASING single adults to discover and follow God’s plan for their lives.

Singleness Defined

One of the most exciting things about singleness is that God’s Word celebrates it!!! According to Paul, singleness can be a season of unparalleled passion for God, and a unique opportunity for spiritual growth and meaningful ministry with minimal distractions.  We here at New Hope Community Church (NHCC) join Paul in celebrating singleness and want you to know that we truly value single adults.

The Single Ministry @ NHCC broadly defines the term “single adult” any unmarried adults, ages 18 or older who happen to be SINGLE BY CHANGE, CHANCE, OR CHOICE, whether theirs or someone else’s.  They fall into one or more of the following categories:

1)       Never married

2)       Formerly married

3)       Widowed

4)       Single Parent

5)       Separated (The separated person is legally married but living a single lifestyle)
